Job Description
We’re looking for service-oriented individuals who are career-minded and who enjoy a challenging and active environment. Our Customer Solution Consultant will work to solve a full range of logistics challenges by engaging with customers and/or agents.
The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify the needs of both new and current customers in order to aid in their logistics and shipping needs. The candidate will also have a strong ability to prioritize and time management with minimal supervision. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customer may face.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming customer requests via phone, email, and website with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Using NGL’s proprietary logistics management platform, process, monitor, and manage critical customer shipments for the medical, aerospace, pharmaceutical, and high tech industries
- Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Work cross functionally within the company to communicate with all stakeholders to ensure continuous customer service
We are currently hiring for the following second shift schedules:
- 2nd Shift schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 12-noon to 10pm
- 2nd Shift schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12PM-noon to 10:00 PM
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service experience (call center, retail, or service industry)
- Previous Dispatch experience – not required but preferred
- Warehouse inventory management experience not required but beneficial
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task with great follow-up skills and strong time management skills
- Knowledge of US and world geography and time zones favorable
- Proficient in MS Windows/MS Outlook; data entry, and type 30-40-WPM
